Welcome to EVERFI. This is the Foundry Knowledge Base where you will find articles covering all the tasks and workflows in the system.
On the left side of the page there is a menu. This menu will help you navigate to the larger workflows and to additional support pages. Most menu headings have subheadings where you will find more specific tasks outlined. At the top of the menu there is a search bar you can also use to locate information.
Take care with your first steps, and the later ones will be a breeze! The minimum steps you need to get started are briefly outlined below. This does not include customization for the course or your messaging.
You may have one or more locations preloaded into your account already. Locations are physical addresses that are used to display relevant law to learners where appropriate. Locations can also be used to target assignments and filter reports. The steps of setting up locations are discussed in the Locations section under the Users heading. Go to Locations to learn more.
If you’re going to assign training, you’ve got to have users. You can add users individually, but you can setup more, more quickly by uploading all users at once with a spreadsheet. The steps of uploading users are discussed in the User Uploads section under the Users heading. Go to User Uploads to learn more.
Before assigning training to your learners, we recommend setting up a test assignment for yourself. Consider it a dry run. You should put together an assignment with a real course, then click Learner Dashboard from the Tools button to view it on your own learner dashboard. The steps of setting up an assignment are discussed under the Assignments heading. Go to Assignments to learn more.
Once you are done using your test assignment, go to the Assignments page and click Deactivate Assignment under your assignment. Go to Deactivating Assignments to learn more.
Select the course, the right learners, a training invitation, a reminder to follow up, a date to invite everyone, and a due date. The steps of setting up an assignment are discussed under the Assignments heading. Go to Assignments to learn more.
